Thinking about eating food that makes you feel good. This means that you feel full, satiated, and energetic. For me, this means omitting dairy from my meals and limiting wheat. These foods cause me a lot of discomfort and – well – issues. I am not a dietitian or nutritionist, but I have learned that it is vital to listen to our bodies and fuel our bodies well without labeling foods as good or bad or denying ourselves the things we love. I am swamped and find that it is essential for my well-being to plan and prep my meals ahead of time. Also, I am exceedingly boring in that I will eat the same things on repeat just because it’s easier. This is what it means for me to create balance, ease, peace, and space for myself throughout the week. This planning may look different for you. Figure out what works for you and makes you feel good in your body. Talk to professionals. Share recipes with friends. Get together with family for meal-prepping. Make this process as joyful as possible.
