Day 8: Waning Gibbous in Scorpio

I want to know how the story ends.
I’ve always been a jump-to-the-last-page kind of person.

Life, unfortunately, doesn’t work that way.

It doesn’t always tell you where you’re going to land. It has a habit of throwing curveballs, even when you’ve planned carefully, even when your intentions are good. No matter how detailed the plan, life has a way of asking you to loosen your grip.

Right now, I’m sitting in an in-between.

I’m leaving an old version of myself behind, but I haven’t fully stepped into the new one yet. I don’t even know who she is. I’m in the discomfort of the shed after the skin has split, before the wings are strong enough to open.

This is the part I want to rush.

I want to skip ahead.
I want to see where this leads.
I want to know that it will all make sense in the end.

But today’s today asks me to do something difficult.

It asks me to stay. To sit in the pause. To resist the urge to fly before I’m ready to soar.

Scorpio reminds me that transformation happens slowly, in the dark, asking for patience instead of certainty of where it will all lead.

So today, I’m practicing waiting.

This is the tending.
