Day 17: New Moon Eclipse in Aquarius

Dear Blossoming Soul,

I carry everything.

I’m afraid that if I set anything down, it won’t get done.

The simple things, like the dishes, the laundry, the bills.
If I don’t do it, no one will.

But it’s the bigger things, too.
Making the plans.
Determining my path.
Placing one foot in front of the other with my bags on my back.

I’ve gotten so used to being the one who holds it all together that I don’t always notice how heavy it’s become. How automatic it is. How deeply my nervous system believes that my safety depends on my effort.

And I carry more than tasks.

I carry other people’s opinions.
I carry the fear of being misunderstood.
I carry the pressure to be seen as capable, kind, responsible, “good.”

I worry about what people think of me, even when I’m exhausted.
Even when I’m doing my best.
Even when I’m already giving more than I have.

Today, under this New Moon Eclipse in Aquarius, I’m asking myself what I’m ready to release.

One “should.”
One unnecessary weight.
One story that says I have to carry it all to be okay.

This is the tending today.
