12 Days of Dreaming

Day 12/12

We’ve reached the final day of dreaming, a moment to reflect on the wishes you’ve released and the one you’ve chosen to keep. By now, you should have burned your 12th wish, sending it into the universe with faith and gratitude, trusting it is already yours.

The 13th and final wish remains—yours to hold close, to guide, motivate, and focus you throughout the year. This wish carries the weight of your deepest intention. Let this wish be a marker, serving as a guide to align your actions and choices with your dreams.

It feels particularly meaningful that this final day coincides with New Year’s Day, a time of fresh beginnings and renewed hope. Just as we step into a new calendar year, we step into the energy of this last wish—an anchor and a promise to ourselves for the months ahead.

New Year’s Day reminds us that every ending leads to a new chapter, and every dream begins with a single, intentional step forward. Take a moment to honor this powerful threshold, knowing that your dreams and the journey ahead are full of infinite possibility.

The Virtue of Wisdom

Wisdom is the ability to learn from experience and to grow in understanding of the world, and of the human heart. It is about discernment, patience, and deep insight. Comprehend as much as you can of the world with the time you have. Wisdom emerges through the lens of life, both the light and the shadow.

December’s Card: The Five of Disks
Looking ahead to December, I drew the Five of Disks, a card that reflects worry, physical concerns, and rumination. Often, this card is associated with feelings of scarcity or loss, particularly in areas like finances, health, creativity, or relationships

Five of Disks: Worry

The Five of Disks often depicts two figures trudging through a snowstorm, appearing isolated and burdened. Yet, behind them stands a warmly lit church, symbolizing hope, faith, and the presence of help—even if unseen. The figures are so consumed by their plight that they fail to notice the light and refuge just steps away.

This card serves as a reminder that worry, while human, can narrow our perspective. It represents not just external challenges but the internal mindset of lack—focusing on what is missing rather than what is present. Whether it’s financial hardship, loss of security, or feelings of isolation, the Five of Disks urges us to recognize the support available if we only look up and reach out.

Help is closer than it seems. The key is to swallow your pride, release the fear of rejection, and ask for assistance. Community, kindness, and generosity surround us, but we must be willing to seek them out. This card also invites us to shift from a scarcity mindset to one of gratitude and trust, ensuring that we don’t unconsciously feed our fears through our thoughts and energy.

The Five of Disks is not a card of permanence; it represents a temporary challenge with lessons that can lead to resilience and deeper connection. It encourages both practical action—seeking help and reassessing resources—and spiritual alignment, focusing on abundance and faith.

Affirmation

“I trust that support is always available to me, even in times of struggle. I release fear and open my heart to receive the help, hope, and abundance that surrounds me. I choose to focus on gratitude and take steps toward renewal and resilience.”

Always,
