Dear Blossoming Soul,
Yesterday was about catching myself before I rushed to the end of the story.
Today is about sitting in the unknown.
Dating feels like the clearest mirror for this moment.
When you meet someone and begin to feel the like — that early stirring — there’s a particular discomfort that comes with it. Not because anything is wrong, but because nothing is decided yet. You don’t know where it’s going. You don’t know what the other person is feeling. You don’t know how the story will unfold.
And there is no shortcut through that space.
Anxiety can surface here, not because the situation is unsafe, but because uncertainty asks us to relinquish control. It asks us to stay present without reassurance. To feel without forecasting.
In those moments, there’s nothing to solve.
You can’t know where it will lead.
You can’t know what someone else is thinking or feeling.
You can’t know how long it will take for clarity to arrive or if it will arrive in the way you expect.
All you can do is stay.
Stay with what’s real right now.
Stay with what you feel without turning it into a story.
Stay without rushing toward meaning, outcome, or certainty.
This is the tending today.
