May: The Month of the Blossom

If April asked me to trust the silence,
May asks me to witness the bloom.

This is the month of the blossom… radiant, alive, full of color and motion.
Where last month was about tending to what lies beneath,
this month is about celebrating what’s breaking through the surface.

The seeds have been planted.
The roots have taken hold.
And now, without force or demand,
something is opening.

Growth is no longer just invisible labor.
It’s becoming a visible beauty.
And this month?
It’s about honoring that.

My card for May is The Wheel of Fortune, a perfect complement to this season of motion and unfolding.
If the High Priestess asked me to trust the stillness,
The Wheel asks me to trust the turning.
The spiral.
The rise.
The change I didn’t create, but that I am now being asked to receive.

This is the shift I couldn’t control.
The opportunity I didn’t force.
The blessing that arrives, not because I chased it,
but because I stayed open to the moment it would arrive.

The Wheel reminds me that timing is sacred.
That alignment can’t be rushed.
That sometimes the best thing I can do is not interfere,
just stay centered, stay awake, and say yes when it’s time.

May is not the month of striving.
It’s the month of noticing.
Of naming what’s beautiful.
Of celebrating the small victories… the dream that’s just beginning to bud, the clarity that finally arrived, the sense of self that feels more rooted than it used to.

It’s about receiving.
Appreciating.
Living fully in the “now.”

So this month, I’ll ask:

What is blooming for me, whether or not I expected it?
What joy am I being invited to fully receive, without apology or delay?
How can I celebrate what is, instead of waiting for more?

Because this is the nature of the Wheel,
it turns whether I’m ready or not.
And if it’s turning toward beauty, toward abundance, toward love,
I want to be present enough to notice.
Grateful enough to receive.
And wise enough to know…

I don’t have to make it happen.
I just have to let it unfold.
