Photo by Uday Mittal on Unsplash Our mind is a powerful tool, friend. We can sit and and ponder the intricacies of the universe, the inner workings of the human heart, and the deeper meaning of life itself. More often, though, we get caught in worry, planning, or any slew of random things that tend to pop into… Continue reading The Worrying Mind

Self Worth
I have placed my self worth, like a gift, into the hands of others assuming that if someone else found me desirable, lovable, admirable, and attractive then that must be true.
Brand New
Photo by Ray Hennessy on Unsplash Have you committed to perpetual growth, friend? The kind that has you striving for the kind of evolution that requires shedding again, and again, and again. A commitment to growth can come at a price, however. There will be people who cannot or will not grow with you. People who are stuck… Continue reading Brand New
Almost and Just About
Photo by Fuu J on Unsplash Stop settling, friend. Stop settling for almost, just about, close enough, and what ifs. One in which requires you to ask yourself, where will you go from here? This mindset is based on the belief that basic… Continue reading Growth Mindset
Victim or Survivor
Friend, we will all face hard times. Trials that come out of seemingly no where, knock us off of our course and flat onto our backs. The wind knocked out of us, rendered senseless. It has often struck me how there are two responses to the shit storms of life. One will either become a victim, or a survivor.
